With wellness increasingly becoming a bigger and bigger industry, we wanted to cover all things wellness - especially, how we prioritize covering the growing costs. So let's dive in!

Do you think the wellness industry is overrated?

A third of Frichies believe that the industry is overhyped. About 40% believe it's a bit overrated but it's mostly a good thing we've reprioritized wellness; and 29% of you believe that the industry is absolutely not overrated.

Our take? Balance is everything. Spending money on your wellbeing is a valuable (and reasonable!) investment, but don't fall into the trap of trying out every new health fad. Here's what the Frich team recommends:

  • think through parts of your wellbeing that you want to prioritize because they make you happier (e.g. beauty treatments),
  • reflect on parts of your wellbeing that need the most work (e.g. investing in a gym membership or therapy),
  • spend accordingly!

What are you willing to spend the most money on?

So, now that you've thought through your personal priorities (and maybe reflected what most of your money goes to currently) - what is everyone else prioritizing?

27% prioritize skincare and general beauty products; 17% spend the most on fitness; 20% of you invest big in vitamins and supplements; 21% prioritize stress relief; and 14% spend the most on their mental health.

How much do you spend on wellness each month?

So how much are people spending on therapy? Skin care? Fitness? The average answer for Frichies was about $200 a month.
